The Jan Shikshan Sansthan focuses non-formal skilling on dropouts and women who need a route back into livelihoods without returning to a classroom.

In Chittoor, which ranks 12 of 27 in Andhra Pradesh for youth opportunity, the overall opportunity score is 47.4 out of 100. On skilling trainees who get certified at 95.7% and women in the labour force at 46.7%, it sits close to the national mark.
