The Jan Shikshan Sansthan focuses non-formal skilling on dropouts and women who need a route back into livelihoods without returning to a classroom.
78% of registered enterprises are in services while 22% are in manufacturing. Only 2% of employment is in small and medium enterprises. 100% of school-age children are enrolled in higher secondary school (classes 9–12).
In Ntr, which ranks 10 of 27 in Andhra Pradesh for youth opportunity, the overall opportunity score is 47.9 out of 100. It trails the national picture on women in the labour force at 40.9%. On skilling trainees who get certified at 97%, it sits close to the national mark.
