Jamui has 796.6 ITI seats per lakh youth, better than the typical district. Of these, 15.1% sit in government institutes, behind the typical district. The Private ITI fills the remaining share of trade training capacity in the district.
74% of registered enterprises are in services while 26% are in manufacturing. Only 2% of employment is in small and medium enterprises. Only 57% of school-age children are enrolled in higher secondary school (classes 9–12).
