Korea places 62.7 apprentices per lakh youth, behind the typical district. The Apprenticeship Placement Cell is the administrative engine behind that number, matching trainees to employers.
80% of registered enterprises are in services while 20% are in manufacturing. Only 3% of employment is in small and medium enterprises. Only 42% of school-age children are enrolled in higher secondary school (classes 9–12). Only 12% of ITI trainers are certified.
In Korea, which ranks 23 of 33 in Chhattisgarh for youth opportunity, the overall opportunity score is 42.5 out of 100. It trails the national picture on ITI seats per lakh youth at 233.5. On informal workers with any social-security cover at 0%, it sits close to the national mark.
