Korea has 233.5 ITI seats per lakh youth, behind the typical district. The district supports 62.7 apprenticeships per lakh youth, behind the typical district. The Government ITI is the main public channel from classroom to trade.
80% of registered enterprises are in services while 20% are in manufacturing. Only 3% of employment is in small and medium enterprises. Only 42% of school-age children are enrolled in higher secondary school (classes 9–12). Only 12% of ITI trainers are certified.
In Korea, which ranks 23 of 33 in Chhattisgarh for youth opportunity, the overall opportunity score is 42.5 out of 100. It runs ahead of the national picture on ITI seats in government institutes at 100%. On skilling trainees who get certified at 98.4%, it sits close to the national mark.
