67% of registered enterprises are in services while 33% are in manufacturing. Only 21% of employment is in small and medium enterprises. 100% of school-age children are enrolled in higher secondary school (classes 9–12).
In North Delhi, which ranks 10 of 11 in Delhi for youth opportunity, the overall opportunity score is 58.9 out of 100. On women-owned enterprises at 12.5%, it sits close to the national mark. The district has 48,762 registered service enterprises.
