71% of registered enterprises are in services while 29% are in manufacturing. Only 16% of employment is in small and medium enterprises. 100% of school-age children are enrolled in higher secondary school (classes 9–12).
In North West Delhi, which ranks 7 of 11 in Delhi for youth opportunity, the overall opportunity score is 62.4 out of 100. On women-owned enterprises at 18.5%, it sits close to the national mark. The district has 1,42,139 registered service enterprises.
