The Jan Shikshan Sansthan focuses non-formal skilling on dropouts and women who need a route back into livelihoods without returning to a classroom.
75% of registered enterprises are in services while 25% are in manufacturing. Only 5% of employment is in small and medium enterprises. 65% of school-age children are enrolled in higher secondary school (classes 9–12). Only 27% of ITI trainers are certified.
In Aravalli, which ranks 16 of 33 in Gujarat for youth opportunity, the overall opportunity score is 48.2 out of 100. On skilling trainees who get certified at 99.2% and women in the labour force at 48%, it sits close to the national mark.
