64% of registered enterprises are in services while 36% are in manufacturing. Only 9% of employment is in small and medium enterprises. Only 51% of school-age children are enrolled in higher secondary school (classes 9–12). Only 20% of ITI trainers are certified.

On skilling trainees who get certified at 94.8%, self-employed workers at 55.1%, women-owned enterprises at 28.2% and young people in the labour force aged 15 to 29 at 51.2%, it sits close to the national mark.
