The Jan Shikshan Sansthan focuses non-formal skilling on dropouts and women who need a route back into livelihoods without returning to a classroom.

In Kaithal, which ranks 14 of 22 in Haryana for youth opportunity, the overall opportunity score is 52.7 out of 100. It trails the national picture on women in the labour force at 19.6%. On skilling trainees who get certified at 96.4%, it sits close to the national mark.
