Pillar: Education & Training
Nuh trains 703.4 youth per lakh under short-term skilling programmes, better than the typical district. 31% of young women aged 15 to 21 are out of education, close to the typical district. The Jan Shikshan Sansthan focuses non-formal skilling on dropouts and women who need a route back into livelihoods without returning to a classroom.
84% of registered enterprises are in services while 16% are in manufacturing. Only 4% of employment is in small and medium enterprises. Only 46% of school-age children are enrolled in higher secondary school (classes 9–12). Only 30% of ITI trainers are certified.
In Nuh, which ranks 22 of 22 in Haryana for youth opportunity, the overall opportunity score is 47.6 out of 100. It trails the national picture on women in the labour force at 24.1%. On skilling trainees who get certified at 96.7%, it sits close to the national mark.
