88% of registered enterprises are in services while 12% are in manufacturing. Only 1% of employment is in small and medium enterprises. Only 42% of school-age children are enrolled in higher secondary school (classes 9–12). 50% of ITI trainers are certified.

It runs ahead of the national picture on ITI seats in government institutes at 100%. On skilling trainees who get certified at 100%, it sits close to the national mark.
