The Jan Shikshan Sansthan focuses non-formal skilling on dropouts and women who need a route back into livelihoods without returning to a classroom.

In Shajapur, which ranks 21 of 55 in Madhya Pradesh for youth opportunity, the overall opportunity score is 44.1 out of 100. It runs ahead of the national picture on women in the labour force at 58.7%. On skilling trainees who get certified at 96.2%, it sits close to the national mark.
