Sidhi trains 196.4 youth per lakh under short-term skilling programmes, behind the typical district. 39.6% of young women aged 15 to 21 are out of education, behind the typical district. The Jan Shikshan Sansthan focuses non-formal skilling on dropouts and women who need a route back into livelihoods without returning to a classroom.
83% of registered enterprises are in services while 17% are in manufacturing. Only 2% of employment is in small and medium enterprises. Only 55% of school-age children are enrolled in higher secondary school (classes 9–12). Only 20% of ITI trainers are certified.
In Sidhi, which ranks 19 of 55 in Madhya Pradesh for youth opportunity, the overall opportunity score is 44.5 out of 100. On skilling trainees who get certified at 96.3% and women in the labour force at 48.7%, it sits close to the national mark.
