The Jan Shikshan Sansthan focuses non-formal skilling on dropouts and women who need a route back into livelihoods without returning to a classroom.
68% of registered enterprises are in services while 32% are in manufacturing. Only 1% of employment is in small and medium enterprises. Only 44% of school-age children are enrolled in higher secondary school (classes 9–12).
