Bundi trains 430 youth per lakh under short-term skilling programmes, better than the typical district. 44% of young women aged 15 to 21 are out of education, behind the typical district. The Jan Shikshan Sansthan focuses non-formal skilling on dropouts and women who need a route back into livelihoods without returning to a classroom.
72% of registered enterprises are in services while 28% are in manufacturing. Only 4% of employment is in small and medium enterprises. Only 55% of school-age children are enrolled in higher secondary school (classes 9–12). Only 21% of ITI trainers are certified.
In Bundi, which ranks 38 of 41 in Rajasthan for youth opportunity, the overall opportunity score is 43.1 out of 100. It runs ahead of the national picture on women in the labour force at 58.4%. On skilling trainees who get certified at 95.8%, it sits close to the national mark.
