70% of registered enterprises are in services while 30% are in manufacturing. Only 4% of employment is in small and medium enterprises. Only 50% of school-age children are enrolled in higher secondary school (classes 9–12). 70% of ITI trainers are certified.
In Pali, which ranks 27 of 41 in Rajasthan for youth opportunity, the overall opportunity score is 45.2 out of 100. It runs ahead of the national picture on ITI seats in government institutes at 62.9%. On skilling trainees who get certified at 94.3%, it sits close to the national mark.
