Pali trains 213 youth per lakh under short-term skilling programmes, behind the typical district. 43.8% of young women aged 15 to 21 are out of education, behind the typical district. The Jan Shikshan Sansthan focuses non-formal skilling on dropouts and women who need a route back into livelihoods without returning to a classroom.
70% of registered enterprises are in services while 30% are in manufacturing. Only 4% of employment is in small and medium enterprises. Only 50% of school-age children are enrolled in higher secondary school (classes 9–12). 70% of ITI trainers are certified.
In Pali, which ranks 27 of 41 in Rajasthan for youth opportunity, the overall opportunity score is 45.2 out of 100. On skilling trainees who get certified at 94.3% and women in the labour force at 44.6%, it sits close to the national mark.
