70% of registered enterprises are in services while 30% are in manufacturing. Only 4% of employment is in small and medium enterprises. Only 50% of school-age children are enrolled in higher secondary school (classes 9–12). 70% of ITI trainers are certified.
In Pali, which ranks 27 of 41 in Rajasthan for youth opportunity, the overall opportunity score is 45.2 out of 100. It trails the national picture on young people in the labour force aged 15 to 29 at 40.7%. On skilling trainees who get certified at 94.3%, self-employed workers at 54.4% and women-owned enterprises at 26.5%, it sits close to the national mark.
