The Jan Shikshan Sansthan focuses non-formal skilling on dropouts and women who need a route back into livelihoods without returning to a classroom.

In Gonda, which ranks 61 of 75 in Uttar Pradesh for youth opportunity, the overall opportunity score is 41.5 out of 100. On skilling trainees who get certified at 93.5% and women in the labour force at 47.8%, it sits close to the national mark.
