Shi Yomi trains 1,137.7 youth per lakh under short-term skilling programmes, better than the typical district. Of those trained, 100% go on to get certified, close to the typical district. The Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Kendra is a dedicated centre for this short-course, certification-linked training.
85% of registered enterprises are in services while 15% are in manufacturing. Only 26% of school-age children are enrolled in higher secondary school (classes 9–12).
