Higher education enrolment in Korea stands at 12.4%, behind the typical district. 8.2% of young men read a newspaper regularly, behind the typical district. College NSS and NCC units channel this enrolled, civic-aware student body into service and discipline programmes.
80% of registered enterprises are in services while 20% are in manufacturing. Only 3% of employment is in small and medium enterprises. Only 42% of school-age children are enrolled in higher secondary school (classes 9–12). Only 12% of ITI trainers are certified.
In Korea, which ranks 23 of 33 in Chhattisgarh for youth opportunity, the overall opportunity score is 42.5 out of 100. The district runs ahead of the national picture on young people in the labour force aged 15 to 29 at 67.4%, while it lags on young men using the internet at 37.6%.
