In Korea, 64.5% of women are anaemic, behind the typical district. 32.1% of children under five are stunted, close to the typical district. 24.6% of women have low BMI, behind the typical district. The PHC and CHC are the first point of clinical care against all three.
80% of registered enterprises are in services while 20% are in manufacturing. Only 3% of employment is in small and medium enterprises. Only 42% of school-age children are enrolled in higher secondary school (classes 9–12). Only 12% of ITI trainers are certified.
In Korea, which ranks 23 of 33 in Chhattisgarh for youth opportunity, the overall opportunity score is 42.5 out of 100. It trails the national picture on households in the poorest wealth group at 53.9%.
