100% of gram panchayats in Central Delhi are BharatNet service-ready, close to the typical district. 70.6% of young men use the internet, better than the typical district. The Common Service Centre delivers government services digitally on top of this connectivity.
69% of registered enterprises are in services while 31% are in manufacturing. Only 26% of employment is in small and medium enterprises. 85% of school-age children are enrolled in higher secondary school (classes 9–12). Only 14% of ITI trainers are certified.
In Central Delhi, which ranks 8 of 11 in Delhi for youth opportunity, the overall opportunity score is 60.5 out of 100. The district runs ahead of the national picture on women using the internet at 60.7%, while it lags on women's freedom of movement at 33.8%.
