67% of registered enterprises are in services while 33% are in manufacturing. Only 21% of employment is in small and medium enterprises. 85% of school-age children are enrolled in higher secondary school (classes 9–12).
In North Delhi, which ranks 11 of 11 in Delhi for youth opportunity, the overall opportunity score is 58.7 out of 100. It runs ahead of the national picture on women using the internet at 57.3% and women's freedom of movement at 52.1%.
