67% of registered enterprises are in services while 33% are in manufacturing. Only 7% of employment is in small and medium enterprises. 85% of school-age children are enrolled in higher secondary school (classes 9–12). Only 21% of ITI trainers are certified.
In North East Delhi, which ranks 9 of 11 in Delhi for youth opportunity, the overall opportunity score is 59.5 out of 100. It runs ahead of the national picture on women using the internet at 59.3%. On women's freedom of movement at 37.3%, it sits close to the national mark.
