100% of gram panchayats in South Delhi are BharatNet service-ready, close to the typical district. 93.2% of young men use the internet, better than the typical district. The Common Service Centre delivers government services digitally on top of this connectivity.
80% of registered enterprises are in services while 20% are in manufacturing. Only 18% of employment is in small and medium enterprises. 85% of school-age children are enrolled in higher secondary school (classes 9–12). Only 4% of ITI trainers are certified.
In South Delhi, which ranks 3 of 11 in Delhi for youth opportunity, the overall opportunity score is 64.4 out of 100. It runs ahead of the national picture on women using the internet at 73.2% and women's freedom of movement at 45.5%.
