99.6% of gram panchayats in Bokaro are BharatNet service-ready, close to the typical district. 64.4% of young men use the internet, better than the typical district. The Common Service Centre delivers government services digitally on top of this connectivity.
80% of registered enterprises are in services while 20% are in manufacturing. Only 4% of employment is in small and medium enterprises. Only 56% of school-age children are enrolled in higher secondary school (classes 9–12). Only 6% of ITI trainers are certified.
