100% of gram panchayats in Leh are BharatNet service-ready, close to the typical district. 72.3% of young men use the internet, better than the typical district. The Common Service Centre delivers government services digitally on top of this connectivity.
78% of registered enterprises are in services while 22% are in manufacturing. Only 5% of employment is in small and medium enterprises. Only 55% of school-age children are enrolled in higher secondary school (classes 9–12). Only 15% of ITI trainers are certified.
